Hewlett Packard 4261A Autoranging LCR Meter, Bounces on Capacitance - Parts

Condition: For Parts or Not Working. Comes in non-original packaging.  This meter is in fair cosmetic condition, with scuffs/scratches/residues from prior use all over.  The binding posts have their plastic knobs all either missing or cracked.  This unit has a REJECTED sticker from Tektronix calibration, saying it is out of tolerance.

Notes: This meter is NOT working properly.  The display is very unstable on capacitance.  Our 22uF capacitor usually reads about 22 ... but it bounces around from 39 to 19!  The other functions are much more stable, varying about +/- 1 significant digit, but the values were close to expected.  The binding post knobs are hard to turn without their plastic, but still can be turned with fingertip pressure.  The power strip sticks depressed, and has to be pulled out to switch off.  No other testing was done.
