Condition: For Parts or Not Working. This centrifuge is in Fair cosmetic condition. It has lots of minor scuffs/scratches from prior use, especially on the sides. The left side of the top cover has a pair of broken bolt holes. The inside of the chamber looks pretty clean. The door of the chamber door has two spots with black goo, we think from a pair of pads disintegrating somewhere under the machine's top cover. This pump had a few notes with it, showing that it received service for its vacuum and diffusion pump oils as well as vacuum hose in 2002 and TLX1Z0 ICB repair/update in 2009

Notes: This ultracentrifuge is NOT working properly. The motor will not spin, but the control panel gives a flashing "DRIVE" indication instead. We are not sure why. The refrigeration system cools to 2ºC without difficulty, and the vacuum system pumps down. Pressing "enter, 4, 1, 1, enter" shows a vacuum reading that falls from 10,000 to 0 in a couple of minutes. The VAC light goes out soon after power-on. When the rotor is spun by hand, a speed indication shows up on the screen. No other testing was done. No manuals, cords/cables, or additional items are included if not listed or shown.

Return Authorization

Shipping and Responsibility

- Failure to note damage voids Dougdeals’ ability to assist with damage claims, and the buyer must seek restitution from the shipping service.
- Customs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and all import-related costs for international shipments are the buyer's responsibility.
