Condition: For Parts or Not Working. This station is in Fair cosmetic condition with a few notable problems.  There is a silver electronic connection box on the rear of the station, which is broken off the base (the screws on back were stripped out) and it sits loose on the table. The temperature controlled chuck has a bad cooling hose and some minor corrosion on the fittings (the coolant in hoses behind the chuck looked clean and green).  The chamber cover (where probes and microscope objective insert) is missing a couple of standoffs and several screws, and the standoffs that remain are slightly bent.  The bottom of the table's legs look like they have floor wax spattered on them.  The shelf under the table has some residue which we are not sure what it may be.  The regulator for the head tilt air pressure is heavily scratched.  The table rests on thick rubber o-rings when deflated; these work well but are badly cracked.  The password for the software is written on the table's bumper in permanent marker.

Notes: This probing station is in Good working condition as far as we can test.  The view through the microscope, on video and in the eyepieces, is good.  The scope zoom and head lift work, but the head-down position hisses a little air leak constantly.  The stage mechanics work with software and joystick control, at all speeds.  Motorized Z-axis software control works.  Manual theta control works.  Coarse X and Y axis controls on the microscope tower, and coarse and fine manual focus controls work.  The manual platen lift works easily.  We did not test the vacuum valves.  The temperature control was able to control to a set temperature above ambient, but without coolant in the lines although the pump runs, it did not cool quickly.  The FLUID light on the controller is probably calling out the lack of coolant.  The Cascade software was able to verify communication with the station.  The E-stop button works and the keys unlock it easily.
