Condition: Used. This chiller is in good cosmetic condition with some scuffs and scratches from regular industrial use.

Notes: We ran this chiller to verify performance using straight water (see video.)  The temperature drop was 2 degrees F per minute at 65F water temperature and 80F ambient with the condenser fan showing considerable throttling.  After doing the math this shows >36,000BTU/hr heat removal.  It has an internal 36-gallon tank, plate type heat exchanger, 3.5hp Copeland compressor, 2hp single-stage stainless steel centrifugal pump moving 10 gallons per minute at 28psi, and variable-speed condenser fan.  The refrigerant used is R-407C, an R-22 replacement.  The unit runs on 230V three-phase; the factory tag says 460 but it is wrong and has been crossed out on the data plate.  Components inside are marked "208-230V".  Further details are available on the manufacturer's website.  The refrigerant, centrifugal pump, and fan speed control were replaced to bring this chiller into the correct operating condition.
