HP 3478A Digital Multimeter DMM 5-1/2 Digit with HP-IB/GPIB Display Issues-Parts

Condition: For Parts or Not Working. Comes in non-original packaging.  This meter is in fair cosmetic condition.  The unit looks and feels dirty, and has many minor scuffs/stains/spots of residues from prior use.  The display has some funkiness happening in the top that almost obscures the top of the digits; it looks like this is inside the display panel itself.  There are also dents and dings on the edges of the plastic around the front panel.
The photos show the exact item(s) the buyer will receive.

Notes: This meter is in PARTIAL working condition.  The power-on self-test gives a "SELF TEST OK" message.  All the measurements from the front panel inputs on AC and DC volts, AC and DC current, 2-wire and 4-wire ohms were close to what we would get on our reference meter.  The display can be read easily, but we can't guarantee it will continue to be useful; we're not sure what's going on with this display.  No other testing was done.
