Condition: For Parts or Not Working. This lot is in Fair cosmetic condition. There are lots of scuffs/scratches, including long/deep scratches mostly on top of the power supply/computer. There is lots of dust, especially in the intake air filters. The optics are completely enclosed and well-protected. We have a few of these, manufactured from late 2012 to 2014, with cumulative time reports up to 8323201.
Cosmetic appearance may vary slightly from pictured unit(s).

Notes: This marker is in PARTIAL working condition. Before removing the hard drive from the computer, we verified each unit operates, as follows: We used our own computer monitor and mouse for testing. We installed jumpers to short COM IN B to Emergency A, and COM IN B to Shutter A to enable the laser to operate. The Distance Pointer works, where the galvos scan a pattern to enable setting the focal length. The main laser works, from low to high power. The office smelled like burned paper for a while LOL. Output power varied from 6.2 to 7.8 Watts at 100%, according to the readout on screen. We removed the hard drive and the computer now boots to an error message indicating the hard drive is not found. No other testing was done. This is being sold AS/IS.

We took one apart. It had the following interesting internal components:
- Single-board computer: ROBO-503K2-R with Geode processor and 512MB RAM
- ATA Hard Drive HAS BEEN REMOVED for data security for the previous owner
- Coherent FAP800-30W-805.5 T0 811.5-F<3.5-25C laser module, mounted to a peltier thermoelectric cooler, on a beefy fan-cooled heatsink
- Circuit board with 10x TO-220 switching FETs and CSNF151-001 current sensor on the laser DC supply, to regulate 3.3V to 2V for the laser
- Another board with TO-220 switching FETS for power to the peltier element
- Solenoid shutter with thick aluminum leaf and position sensor
- Lightpath with coated mirrors & other optics including what looks like an electro-acoustic modulator (?)
- Scanning galvanometer set with 2x Cambridge CT 6230H galvos
- (2) Galvanometer driver boards P/N 670K1C with 670K2B daughter boards
- QSW TAM-488 Q-switch driver, looks like a rebadged NEOS, with 2x MRF314 transistors inside
- Electromechanical focusing assembly with moving coil magnet attached to lenses, driven by LM3886 chipamp M980020557, 867-C-M135-01, 9800302811
- Approx. 5m Coherent 1079688 optical fiber with SMA connections on the ends
- TDK-Lambda open-frame regulated DC power supplies:

Return Authorization

Exclusions and Limitations

Replacement or substitute items may be sent instead of a refund at Dougdeals’ discretion.
Returned items must be in the same condition as when sent and include all components.
Dougdeals reserves the right to deduct costs from refunds for items altered or damaged during shipping.

Shipping and Responsibility

Original shipping costs are non-refundable for orders shipped internationally or to U.S. territories, Alaska, or Hawaii.
Buyers are responsible for:
- International and expedited shipping costs, import fees, calibration fees, and testing fees.
- Any loss or damage during transit for shipments arranged by the buyer.
Damage occurring during transit via Dougdeals-arranged third-party services or Dougdeals employee delivery must be noted in writing on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
Failure to note damage voids Dougdeals’ ability to assist with damage claims, and the buyer must seek restitution from the shipping service.
Customs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and all import-related costs for international shipments are the buyer's responsibility.
