Condition: Used. This microscope is in fair cosmetic condition. It looks nice from a distance, but up close you will find both light and heavy scratches in the stage, some scuffs/scratches in the base, on the eyetubes, and some heavy scratches near the connectors on the bottom/back corner of the frame. One of the eyepieces has its top trim ring missing. The stage is a little loose, and can be wiggled up and down with fingertip pressure.

Notes: PLEASE READ: This microscope is in PARTIAL working condition, with a few notable problems. It is usable as a microscope; the optics give a nice crisp view. The motorized objective changer works. The illuminator works. The eyetubes hold themselves at a set angle. The Aperture Diaphragm works. The Field Diaphragm belt is missing some teeth, so when the diaphragm is set to less than about 13% the field diameter, the belt skips instead of totally closing the iris, and makes a clicking noise until the FD is set to a larger diameter. The automatic FD setting will cause this error when changing objectives. The diaphragm opening is also offset, so the bright field is off to the top right side of the view. The software download from Teledyne Lumenera requires an account with the manufacturer, which we don't have, so we were unable to test the camera. The pictures of a semiconductor wafer shown in photo #7 were taken through an eyepiece with a mobile phone camera. We installed a new bulb in the illuminator. No other testing was done.

Return Authorization

If a return is requested due to seller error, Dougdeals reserves the right to accept or deny the return.

If a return is accepted:
- The return must include an assigned RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
- The item must be received within 21 days of return authorization.
Returns received after the 21-day return window will only be returned to the buyer at the buyer’s expense.

Return Requests

Seller Error: Examples include wrong product sent or inauthenticity.
- Dougdeals may deduct original and return shipping costs from the refund for items found to be accurately described.
- Additional deductions may be applied to cover labor costs for processing returns.
Buyer Error: Examples include wrong part ordered, compatibility issues, no longer needed, or found a better price.
- No returns are accepted for buyer error.

Exclusions and Limitations

Replacement or substitute items may be sent instead of a refund at Dougdeals’ discretion.
Returned items must be in the same condition as when sent and include all components.
Dougdeals reserves the right to deduct costs from refunds for items altered or damaged during shipping.

Shipping and Responsibility

Original shipping costs are non-refundable for orders shipped internationally or to U.S. territories, Alaska, or Hawaii.
Buyers are responsible for:
- International and expedited shipping costs, import fees, calibration fees, and testing fees.
- Any loss or damage during transit for shipments arranged by the buyer.
Damage occurring during transit via Dougdeals-arranged third-party services or Dougdeals employee delivery must be noted in writing on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
Failure to note damage voids Dougdeals’ ability to assist with damage claims, and the buyer must seek restitution from the shipping service.
Customs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and all import-related costs for international shipments are the buyer's responsibility.
