Condition: Used. Comes in non-original packaging. This solder pot is in good cosmetic condition with scuffs, scratches, and some minor dents from regular commercial use. The LED display lights up with 000 but does not register a temperature. The preset lever is broken off and does not function. There are some minor dents to the front of the heat shield. The handles on either side of the heat shield are missing and not included. The end of the hinge for the top safety heat shield lid is broken off and just fits into the hole and does not extend beyond the hinge hole. This can cause the lid to unhinge easily when operated. The edge of the crucible is discolored and rough from use over time (see photo).

Notes: We powered on this solder pot to observe the power indicator light and LED display ignite. The LCD readout is non-functional in that it only reads 000 and does not properly express temperature. Additionally, the preset switch is broken off and combined with the broken LED display makes it impossible to set preset temperatures. The manual temperature knob is functional and allows a large range of temperatures from low to high. This solder pot came to us full of solder in the crucible. We manually set the temperature to high and allowed the pot to heat up. Within 30 minutes the solder had melted and become molten. We removed most of the solder from the pot to reduce the shipping weight. No additional testing was performed.

30-Day Guarantee

Items can be returned for any reason within 30 days of delivery.
Buyers must notify Dougdeals in writing within this period to initiate a return.
Returns must be authorized by Dougdeals and include an assigned RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Authorized returns must be received by Dougdeals within 21 days of return authorization.

Return Shipping and Refunds

If the return is due to seller error (e.g., wrong item sent, defects not described, inauthenticity), DougDeals will cover the return shipping costs and process a complete refund, including the original shipping charges, within two business days of receiving the returned item.
If the return is due to buyer error (e.g., wrong part ordered, compatibility issues, no longer needed, found a better price), the buyer is responsible for:
- Safe return shipping.
- Return shipping costs.
- Any loss or damage during return transit.

Exclusions and Limitations

Replacement or substitute items may be provided at Dougdeals’ discretion instead of a refund.
Returned items must be in the same condition as when sent and include all components.
There is no restocking fee, but Dougdeals reserves the right to deduct costs from refunds for altered or damaged items.
Items returned due to seller error that are found to be accurately described will have return shipping deducted from the refund.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable for orders shipped internationally or to U.S. territories, Alaska, or Hawaii.

Shipping and Responsibility

International and expedited shipping costs, import fees, calibration fees, and testing fees are the buyer’s responsibility.
Any damage occurring during transit via Dougdeals-arranged third-party services or Dougdeals employee delivery must be noted in writing on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery. Failure to do so will result in the buyer assuming responsibility for damage claims.
Dougdeals is not liable for loss or damage during transit via buyer-arranged shipping services.
Customs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and all import-related costs for international shipments are the buyer's responsibility.
