Condition: For Parts or Not Working. Comes in non-original packaging. Cosmetic condition is Good from a few feet away, but up close you will note lots of small stains/scuffs/scratches/label residues. The stage can be wobbled by hand (we're not sure if this is normal). The photos show the exact item(s) the buyer will receive.

Notes: This ellipsometer is in PARTIAL working condition. We were NOT able to see anything but a circle of scratches in the collimator viewing tube. We got repeatable measurements from just the stage surface, and different measurements with a couple of objects we had laying around the shop (kapton film and a Si wafer). The stage flops a little when pushed by hand but apparently stays in place well enough to make measurements. When power is applied, the machine goes through its boot sequence and initializes. When prompted to push Program or Continue, and continue is selected, an EEPROM error shows; when Program is selected, it keeps going. We input program 211000 and an NL value of 1.64 and the machine went into a state where it would make a measurement every time the Continue button was pressed. We don't have any standards to compare to the readings given by this machine so we are not sure the readings it gives are accurate. The stage can be adjusted so the laser shines into the aperture of the analyzer. The collimator's light shines a very dim circle on the stage about where the laser hits. NO other testing was done. No manuals, cords/cables, or additional items are included if not listed or shown.

Return Authorization

If a return is requested due to seller error, Dougdeals reserves the right to accept or deny the return.
Unauthorized returns of “as-is” products will be made available for return to the buyer at the buyer’s expense.
If a return is accepted:
- The return must include an assigned RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
- The item must be received within 21 days of return authorization.
Returns received after the 21-day return window will only be returned to the buyer at the buyer’s expense.

Return Requests

Seller Error: Examples include wrong product sent or inauthenticity.
- Dougdeals may deduct original and return shipping costs from the refund for items found to be accurately described.
- Additional deductions may be applied to cover labor costs for processing returns.
Buyer Error: Examples include wrong part ordered, compatibility issues, no longer needed, or found a better price.
- No returns are accepted for buyer error.

Exclusions and Limitations

Replacement or substitute items may be sent instead of a refund at Dougdeals’ discretion.
Returned items must be in the same condition as when sent and include all components.
Dougdeals reserves the right to deduct costs from refunds for items altered or damaged during shipping.

Shipping and Responsibility

Original shipping costs are non-refundable for orders shipped internationally or to U.S. territories, Alaska, or Hawaii.
Buyers are responsible for:
- International and expedited shipping costs, import fees, calibration fees, and testing fees.
- Any loss or damage during transit for shipments arranged by the buyer.
Damage occurring during transit via Dougdeals-arranged third-party services or Dougdeals employee delivery must be noted in writing on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
Failure to note damage voids Dougdeals’ ability to assist with damage claims, and the buyer must seek restitution from the shipping service.
Customs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and all import-related costs for international shipments are the buyer's responsibility.
